Hosts, New Amsterdam Town Constabulary made sure that they placed themselves in order first as the brushed aside their opponents to win the annual Town Week domino tournament which was played on Monday last at the New Amsterdam Town Hall.
The Constabulary team policed their environment effectively blazing to the winning total of 155 games, soaking down the Guyana Fire Service on 144 with the Drop In Centre in the cellar position three games back on 141.

Other teams that participated in the one-day aggregate competition were the Guyana Police Force and the Guyana Defence Force which both ran out of artillery, ending on 140 and 138 games respectively. Big Six were cut down to size and were only able to manage 132 games.
Trophies and cash incentives were distributed to the top teams and leading individual performers.
Town Week sports events were expected to continue yesterday with Netball at the New Amsterdam Basketball Court.
