Bibi Perrone (formerly Khadar), or popularly known as Bibi Khan.

Born in New Amsterdam to parents Walter Khadar, now deceased, and Sylvia Khadar, Bibi Perrone grew up in Smythfield, but spent part of her childhood between 1955 and 1963 in Glasgow.  Around the age of 5, Bibi attended Friends Primary School in Sisters Village on the East Bank of Berbice , after which she transferred to the Providence Congregation School, where she stayed  until she was about 10 years old. From age 10 to 15, Bibi attended Vrymans’  Erven Government School and then National High School, located in Pilot Street.

Bibi participated in the In-service Teacher’s College program in the 1970s and later taught at the Viola Nursery School from 1976 until 1983.
Bibi Perrone is making her mark in community development in the United States as she contributes her time and effort into community rebuilding.
